The unit consists of both a hat and face shield PPE. The face shield covers the whole face to provide protection from splashing liquids and subsequent infection.
The clever design is also very comfortable to wear. Instead of a complex harness system that may hit pressure-points or irritate the skin, the shield connects to a normal hat. The face shield fastens to the hat with push buttons and so the visor adjusts easily.
Most importantly, this provides coverage for every head or face shape. Moreover, when protection is not needed the face shield can be pushed up into a “parking position”, making its use flexible and versatile. As a result, shield removal is not required and can be used again immediately. Additionally, the replacement shield is a great “extra” option. For example, have it on hand to easily replace a damaged or scratched shield… or just use it as a back-up between cleanings.
